Welcome (back) to DW! Here via [personal profile] liv. I comment rarely, but read often. Posting varies, most of it locked. Let me know if you want access.

Hi! [personal profile] liv clearly thinks the world of you and that alone would be a good enough reason to add you but your comment in her journal really piqued my interest.

Hello, another person here via [personal profile] liv who would like to read your posts :-)

I mostly post publicly and tend to update my access lists when I have a reason to post access-locked.

Oh! I replied elsewhere, on liv's journal. In sum, I said: I've subscribed, and look forward to reading, if on a glance at what I usually post you think I'm a likely candidate for access. Cheers! :)

Hi, I spotted [personal profile] liv's post about you, and thought, that person looks interesting. So here I am to say hello.

I'm still hanging on by the fingernails to my beloved fandom, but branch out into various bits and pieces (many of them knitting and afternoon tea, in some cases both). Can't guarantee that I'll be interesting to read, but you never know.

Hi! I commented over on Liv's journal too (still haven't worked out the little head thing) but just in case - I believe we may have common loves and passions, and would love to read your words, if you don't mind that I haven't worked out how to reciprocate.

Ugh, LJ is even worse at handling OpenID than DW is! I think what needs to happen is:
  • [personal profile] withagreatlove needs to comment on one of [livejournal.com profile] ghoti's public entries.
  • Where it says "From" above the comment box, choose "OpenID" from the drop-down.
  • Then type withagreatlove.dreamwidth.org in the box labelled "Identity URL".
  • That creates what's called an "identity account" for [personal profile] withagreatlove's DW blog.
  • [livejournal.com profile] ghoti can go to the profile of that account, by clicking on the comment in the normal way, and add withagreatlove.dreamwidth.org as a friend.

I'm pretty sure there's no easier way :-(
  • [identity profile] ghoti.livejournal.com 2015-01-12 07:19 pm (UTC)(link)
It worked for me, thank you.

    Yes, I can, thankyou

    How annoying :(

May I post this? Not naming withagreatlove, of course.

I'm not sure if you're asking me or asking [personal profile] withagreatlove, but as far as I'm concerned you're more than welcome to repost my instructions for friending DW accounts on LJ.

I found you through Liv's post. I tend to post about religion, social justice, and .... nope, that's mostly it. Reclaiming/Feri religious witchcraft is my path. I'm a mom and a grandmother to a 15 y/o. Happy to add you.

Oh yes, label me as I am. Every now and then members of the pagan community hiccup and squirm at the term and some drop it altogether because they don't want to be associated with [fill in the blank of whomever they find distasteful at the moment], but thus far I reman okay with the idea that there will always be those I will vehemently disagree with and with a label as loose as pagan/neo-pagan it doesn't bug me the same way. (Which isn't me saying people shouldn't drop labels for themselves for whatever reason. Everyone gets to be exactly as they are, after all, same as I do.)

    Thanks for adding me back!

This could be incredibly short or ridiculously long. As I am short on time I am going to link you to our mission statement which also has links to "general" Reclaiming information to read at your leisure. This link is our line and not necessarily indicative of every other Reclaiming/Feri line, but much overlap occurs.

    Feel free to ask questions!

Definitely Goddess-centered if you refer to the creation myth though Gods are welcome. Reclaiming is Goddess spirituality combined with social justice ecological concerns. It was co-created in the last 1/3 of the 20th century so it is very fresh and new.

Feri threaded through Reclaiming originally, but became more line specific and some lines are Reclaiming only. Reclaiming and Feri generally are separate initiations if one chooses to be initiated. This line of Feri comes from Victor Anderson who pulled many and varied religions and spiritual practices, contemporary thought, and his own mystical visions. I have a strong Feri current running through me and my practices and my coven is very Feri centric, but that is not so across the board.

Hi, followed you home from Liv's DW. My posts are pretty much a grab bag. Commentary on life, the universe and everything, and the occasional Bad Poem. I'm a homeschooling mom (Boy Unit is now 20 and off to college, Girl Unit is 17 and still homeschooling) who has a degree in Anthropology. I'm also pagan, mixed race, practicing Stoicism and in love with dancing.(Also, I love parentheses. {A lot.})
